Telangana Court Sentences Man to Death for Brutal Murder of Wife and Two Children

The perpetrator admitted to committing the heinous crime according to court documents (Representational).

Hyderabad:

A Vikarabad district court delivered a capital punishment verdict on Thursday against a 32-year-old man who brutally murdered his wife and two young children in a disturbing incident that occurred in August 2019.

The Principal District and Sessions Judge determined the defendant's guilt and imposed the death sentence along with a monetary penalty of Rs 10,000.

According to prosecuting attorneys, the convicted individual, employed in the private sector, harbored unfounded suspicions regarding his 25-year-old wife's faithfulness. His wife worked as a teacher at a private educational institution. The marital relationship had deteriorated due to repeated arguments over these suspicions.

On the evening of August 4, 2019, the man first attacked and killed his wife using a rod. Following this initial act of violence, he proceeded to murder his eight-year-old stepson with the same weapon and strangled his five-year-old daughter, according to an official statement released by the Vikarabad District Police.

In the early morning hours of August 5, 2019, the man voluntarily appeared at the Vikarabad Police Station where he provided a full confession to authorities regarding the triple homicide, the police statement further detailed.
