Pakistan-Based Terror Handler Praises Delhi Blast in Propaganda Video, Claims Muslims Were Not Targets

A disturbing propaganda video from a Pakistan-based terrorist handler has emerged praising the deadly suicide bombing near Delhi's Red Fort and threatening more attacks. The handler, identified as Ustad Farhatullah Ghauri (Shahid Faisal), was also responsible for the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru. The video reveals direct links between Pakistan-based terror groups and recent attacks on Indian soil while attempting to justify these violent acts.

In the propaganda video, Faisal acknowledges that Muslims were among the casualties but clarifies they were not the intended targets of the attack.

NDTV has obtained access to a disturbing propaganda video featuring a Pakistan-based handler who openly praises the suicide bombing near Delhi's Red Fort while threatening additional attacks. The video was created by the same handler responsible for orchestrating the Rameshwaram Cafe bombing in Bengaluru last year. In his message, he explicitly states that although Muslims were among those killed, they were not deliberately targeted.

Intelligence agencies recovered this 5-minute 35-second recording from dark-web channels operated by Pakistan-based terrorist organizations including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Voice analysis has identified the speaker as 41-year-old Ustad Farhatullah Ghauri, also known as Shahid Faisal. Originally from Karnataka, Faisal escaped to Saudi Arabia in 2012 before relocating to Pakistan, where he reportedly maintains close ties with terrorist groups like JeM and LeT, as well as Pakistan's notorious intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).

In the video, Faisal, who directed the Rameshwaram Cafe attack, responds to questions about the Delhi suicide bombing that claimed 13 lives. He acknowledges Muslim casualties while emphasizing they were not specific targets. During his commentary on Indian media coverage of the attack, a screenshot of an NDTV article appears in the video.

Faisal attempts to justify these suicide bombings while criticizing "opportunistic Muslims" who join others in condemning such violent actions carried out in the name of Islam.

While claiming ignorance about the perpetrators' identities, he describes the attack as a consequence of "injustice" and issues ominous warnings about future incidents.

NDTV acquired this footage on Tuesday, shortly after video emerged of the Delhi bomber Dr. Umar Mohammad, alias Umar-un-Nabi. In his recording, Nabi rejects the term "suicide bombing," instead referring to such acts as "martyrdom operations."

"One of the very misunderstood concepts is the concept of what has been labelled as suicide bombing. It is a martyrdom operation... known in Islam. Now, there are multiple contradictions; there are multiple arguments that have been brought against it," Nabi states in his video.

Nabi's video demonstrates how organizations like JeM have successfully recruited and indoctrinated highly educated professionals in India. The connection between Nabi's cell and JeM had already been established through his colleague at Faridabad's Al Falah University, Dr. Shaheen Saeed, who was allegedly tasked with establishing JeM's women's wing in India.
