Jan Suraaj Party candidate Santosh Kumar Singh finished third with 3,898 votes.

Patna: In a significant electoral victory, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary from the BJP has secured the Tarapur assembly seat with a substantial margin of 45,843 votes.
The BJP leader garnered an impressive 1,22,480 votes in the contest, while RJD's Arun Kumar, his closest competitor, managed to obtain 76,637 votes.
