New Delhi:

The children of Mohsin, a Meerut resident who lost his life in the November 11 car bomb explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, have called for justice against those behind this tragic incident.

When IANS spoke with Mohsin's grieving family, they shared their heartbreaking experience and demanded stern action against the perpetrators.

Mohsin's son expressed his plea simply: "Punish those who are responsible."

His daughter voiced similar sentiments: "I just want to say that whoever is responsible should be punished."

Mohsin's brother-in-law described the family's distress: "I was in Ahmedabad when news of the blast reached me. Around 5 a.m. this morning, I learned that the post-mortem was complete. Mohsin's sons are very young. The family was residing in rented accommodation in Delhi. Despite government announcements, we haven't received any assistance so far."

Nadim, Mohsin's younger brother, added: "He was approximately 35-36 years old and died instantly in the explosion. We searched for hours without finding any trace of him. His name didn't even appear on the initial casualty list. He drove an e-rickshaw to provide for his family. He leaves behind two children and his wife. They live in a rented house, and no government aid has reached us yet. His body was completely burned, with only his face remaining recognizable."

Recounting the anxious hours following the explosion, Mohsin's sister-in-law said: "After numerous attempts, an officer finally answered his phone and informed us he was at the Red Fort police station. That's when we feared he might have been caught in the blast. We were directed to LNJP Hospital, but security was tight, and information was scarce. We were simply told to wait patiently."

Mohsin had relocated to Delhi two years ago with his wife, Sultana, and their two children to work as an e-rickshaw driver. Following his death, his remains were transported to his hometown in Meerut for funeral proceedings.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the survivors of the Red Fort blast at LNJP Hospital in Delhi. He assured that those responsible for the conspiracy would face justice.

In a statement posted on X, PM Modi wrote, "Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone's quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice."
