Jammu:
A confrontation erupted between security forces and terrorists in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening, according to Army officials.
"Following an intelligence-led operation in the Kishtwar area, vigilant troops of the White Knight Corps made contact with terrorists approximately at 8 pm," stated the White Knight Corps in a post on X.
The Army verified that gunfire was exchanged and added, "The operation is currently in progress."
