The CCTV footage from 8:13 am on Monday captures Mohammad wearing a mask while collecting a receipt at the toll plaza located on the Haryana-Delhi border.
According to sources, the vehicle was spotted near Asian Hospital in Faridabad around 7:30 am, passed through Badarpur toll plaza at approximately 8:13 am, and reached Okhla around 8:20 am.
The car was later parked in a lot near Red Fort around 3:19 pm and remained there until 6:30 pm. Investigators noted that Mohammad never exited the vehicle during this entire period, likely due to concerns about the explosives inside being discovered.
Just 22 minutes after leaving the parking lot, the i20 was moving slowly on Netaji Subhash Marg, near Red Fort Metro station, with the historic Red Fort on one side and the busy Chandni Chowk market on the other, when it detonated. The explosion's force completely destroyed the vehicle and scattered human remains across the road. Nine nearby vehicles, including six cars and two e-rickshaws, were either severely damaged or caught fire.
Additional CCTV footage and photographs of Mohammad and the vehicle traveling from Faridabad to Delhi emerged on Tuesday morning. Videos have also surfaced showing three individuals obtaining a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate for the car on October 29.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has assumed responsibility for investigating the blast. Mohammad was a senior doctor at Al Falah University in Faridabad. Two other doctors from the same institution, Muzammil Shakeel and Shaheen Shahid, were arrested on Monday in connection with the discovery of 2,900 kg of explosives, arms, and ammunition in Faridabad.
The explosives were recovered from two rooms rented under Muzammil's name, while assault rifles and ammunition were found in Shahid's car. Sources indicate that Shahid was also assigned to establish the women's wing of the Pakistani terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Both Shahid and Muzammil are suspects in the blast investigation.
