Mumbai Doctor Attacked Over Relationship: KEM Hospital Staff's Brother Commits Violent Assault

The injured doctor, currently employed at KEM Hospital in Mumbai, is now receiving medical treatment at the same institution where he works (File).

A physician from King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital in Mumbai was violently attacked by the brother of a female staff member employed at the same medical facility.

The doctor sustained serious injuries during the assault and is currently undergoing treatment at KEM Hospital. Police investigations have initially determined that this incident appears to stem from personal animosity.

According to authorities, the woman's brother strongly disapproved of the relationship between his sister and the doctor, which motivated the violent attack.

The perpetrator collaborated with two associates to carry out the stabbing. Following the attack, all three individuals immediately fled from the scene.

Law enforcement officials have filed an attempted murder case and are actively searching for the three suspects involved in this violent incident.
