Woman physically confronted driver and delivered multiple slaps while bystanders watched
In Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district, a woman publicly confronted and repeatedly slapped a private bus driver who allegedly misused her contact information to send inappropriate content to her mobile phone. The driver reportedly obtained her phone number from ticket reservation records.
The woman had previously purchased tickets through the private transportation company's Kankavli office several months earlier. She was a regular passenger on the company's bus service, traveling frequently between Kankavli and Mumbai.
According to reports, the driver accessed her mobile number from the booking system and began sending inappropriate videos to her through messaging applications. After receiving multiple such messages, the woman determined to take matters into her own hands.
On September 16 in the evening, she visited the company's ticket office near the Kankavli bus terminal with a female companion. After identifying the driver, she showed him the offensive messages on her phone before delivering multiple slaps to his face.
Footage of the confrontation shows both women challenging the driver and the primary victim slapping him repeatedly while others looked on.
As of now, police authorities have not received any formal complaint regarding the incident.
