Brutal Double Murder in Jabalpur: Man Kills Brother and Sister-in-Law Over Property Dispute

A horrific double murder occurred in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Friday when a man fatally stabbed both his brother and sister-in-law following an intense property dispute.

According to officials, Bablu Chaudhary, who works as a daily wage laborer, had been engaged in a prolonged conflict with his elder brother Sanjay, a trader, over their ancestral property for several months.

The incident unfolded when Bablu visited Sanjay's residence in the Baldi Kori Dafai area around noon to demand his portion of the family property. This request quickly escalated into a heated argument that turned violent when Bablu began attacking Sanjay with a knife.

Surveillance footage captured the brutal attack, showing Sanjay stumbling out of his home while being pursued by Bablu, who continued his assault even after Sanjay collapsed to the ground.

The video shows Bablu repeatedly stabbing Sanjay in the front and back while his sister-in-law desperately attempted to intervene. Despite briefly being restrained by his sister-in-law and another individual, Bablu persisted with the attack as Sanjay attempted to escape.

In a further horrifying development, officials reported that Bablu then chased his sister-in-law back into the house and killed her in the presence of her two young children.

Following the double homicide, Bablu fled the scene. Sanjay and his wife were transported to a hospital where medical personnel pronounced them both dead.

Authorities have filed murder charges against Bablu and launched an extensive search operation, deploying teams across neighboring districts to locate him.

Police station in-charge Pratiksha Marco described the incident as "a cold-blooded act stemming from a long-standing property dispute," and assured that "the accused will be arrested soon."
