A video of last week's shooting outside actor Disha Patani's house in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly surfaced, on a day the two men involved in the incident were killed in an encounter with the police in Ghaziabad.

The CCTV footage from September 12 shows suspects Ravinder and Arun arriving on a motorcycle around 3:45 am. As they approach the property, dogs begin barking alertingly. After initially passing the house, they return shortly thereafter. The passenger dismounts, enters the adjacent street, and discharges multiple rounds into the air.
Both assailants, natives of Haryana, were active members of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar criminal organization, with Ravinder having an extensive criminal record. Additional Director General of Law and Order Amitabh Yash stated that authorities identified them through surveillance footage analysis, intelligence reports, and cross-referencing criminal records from neighboring states.
During Wednesday's joint operation conducted by Delhi Police Special Cell, Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force, and Haryana Special Task Force, one special cell officer sustained injuries. An official told PTI, "The suspects were directly involved in the Bareilly shooting, which raised security concerns for high-profile individuals. The incident appears to have been an intimidation strategy connected to extortion activities."
Authorities recovered a Glock pistol, a Zigana pistol, and numerous ammunition rounds from the encounter location.
When the shooting occurred, the actress's father (retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagdish Singh Patani), her mother, and elder sister Khushbu Patani were present at the residence.
Following the incident, an associate of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility, alleging the attack was motivated by Khushboo Patani's disrespect toward spiritual leaders Sant Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya.
