PM Modi Encourages Citizens to Purchase Local 'Swadeshi' Products During India's Festive Season

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the citizens of India to embrace local products during the festive season as a way to honor the hard work of the nation's 140 crore people.

"Let's mark this festive season by celebrating the hardwork, creativity and innovation of 140 crore Indians," the Prime Minister stated in a message shared on his social media platform X.

In his appeal, PM Modi encouraged Indians to purchase domestically produced items and proudly declare, "Garv Se Kaho Yeh Swadeshi Hai" (Say with pride that this is indigenous).

The Prime Minister further urged citizens to showcase their swadeshi purchases on social media platforms. "Do also share what you bought on social media. This way you will inspire others to also do the same," he noted in his post.

Modi's call comes as India enters its major festive period, emphasizing the importance of supporting local industries and artisans during this significant shopping season.

His message highlights the government's continued focus on promoting Indian-made products as part of broader self-reliance initiatives that aim to strengthen domestic manufacturing and economic growth.
