Elon Musk Congratulates INOX Executive on Tesla Purchase
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has extended his congratulations to Siddharth Jain, Executive Director of the INOX Group, who recently acquired a Tesla vehicle.

On Monday, Mr. Jain took delivery of what he described as "India Inc's first Tesla." He shared an image of his stealth grey Tesla Model Y and dedicated the purchase to Elon Musk with the message, "This one's for you, Elon Musk."
The INOX executive revealed that this moment had been eagerly anticipated since his visit to Tesla's manufacturing facility in Fremont, California, in 2017.
"I have been waiting for this precious moment ever since I visited the Tesla Fremont factory in 2017! Dreams do come true!" Jain stated in his post.

Tesla's Entry into Indian Market
The American electric vehicle manufacturer officially commenced operations in India in mid-July. Its inaugural showroom opened at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). This was followed by a second showroom at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport several weeks later.
On September 4, Tesla India's official X account announced that vehicle deliveries would begin shortly in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and Gurugram.

About Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y is an all-electric compact SUV capable of accommodating up to 7 passengers with an optional third row. Like other Tesla vehicles, it features rapid acceleration, responsive handling, and impressive range on a single charge.
The vehicle comes equipped with autopilot capabilities, a large touchscreen control interface, and advanced safety systems.
Tesla Model Y Pricing in India
In Mumbai, the Tesla Model Y is priced at Rs 61.07 lakh, while in Gurugram, it costs Rs 66.76 lakh. Due to India's 110 percent import tax on vehicles priced above $40,000 (approximately ₹33.4 lakh), Tesla vehicles in India cost more than double their US price.
According to Bloomberg, Tesla has secured over 600 orders since July and anticipates delivering between 350 to 500 vehicles to India this year.
