Indian Army personnel opened fire after detecting suspicious activity along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara sector on Monday evening at approximately 7 PM.

An official from the Indian Army stated that military operations are currently ongoing in the area.

"Indian Army troops observed suspicious movement along the Line of Control in the Kupwara sector of Jammu and Kashmir and responded by firing towards it around 7 PM in the evening. Operations continue to be conducted in the area. Additional information is awaited," according to a statement released by Indian Army officials.
