PM Modi Reaches Out to Congress President Kharge After Pacemaker Procedure

Prime Minister Narendra Modi contacted Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to wish him a speedy recovery following his pacemaker implantation procedure.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to Mallikarjun Kharge to express his concern and wish him a prompt recovery. This call came just one day after the 83-year-old Congress president underwent a pacemaker implantation procedure.

Mr. Kharge was admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday, with the medical procedure taking place the following day.

Priyank Kharge, the Congress president's son, confirmed that his father is in stable condition and recovering well.

Taking to social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi shared: "Spoke to Kharge Ji. Enquired about his health and wished him a speedy recovery." He added, "Praying for his continued well-being and long life."

The Congress leader's health situation appears to be improving following the cardiac procedure.
