New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 75th birthday on Wednesday by inaugurating and launching multiple crucial initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, encompassing health, nutrition, tribal welfare, and industrial development sectors.
In Dhar, he launched the 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar' and the '8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah' campaigns. These initiatives will facilitate over one lakh health camps nationwide at various government facilities including Ayushman Arogya mandirs, community health centres, and district hospitals from September 17 to October 2.
The campaigns will also organize blood donation drives, enroll eligible citizens under PM-JAY, and provide Ayush services including yoga sessions. Blood donors will be registered through the e-Raktkosh portal.
PM Modi is scheduled to transfer funds directly to nearly 10 lakh women beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
These campaigns focus on delivering women-centric healthcare across preventive, promotive, and curative aspects. They aim to enhance early detection and treatment of non-communicable diseases, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease. The Prime Minister will distribute one crore sickle cell screening and counselling cards in Madhya Pradesh to strengthen efforts against sickle cell anaemia.
Various specialist healthcare services including gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, psychiatry, eye, ENT, and dental care will be made available through medical colleges, district hospitals, and private institutions.
He also unveiled the 'Suman Sakhi Chatbot', designed to provide timely maternal and child health information to pregnant women in rural and remote regions.
Additionally, PM Modi launched 'Adi Seva Parv' in tribal areas under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan. This program will deliver comprehensive services including health, education, skill development, livelihood enhancement, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental protection, guided by the Tribal Village Action Plan and Tribal Village Vision 2030.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, covering 2,150 acres. The facility features modern infrastructure including roads, a solar power plant, and a common effluent treatment facility. It aims to support cotton farmers, boost exports, generate approximately 3 lakh jobs, and attract textile investments exceeding Rs 23,140 crore.
PM Modi is expected to present a sapling to a women's self-help group beneficiary under the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' initiative. Over 10,000 women across Madhya Pradesh will plant and nurture trees in their 'Maa Ki Bagiya' gardens, with comprehensive government support provided.
