SpiceJet on Tuesday said it has inked lease agreements for inducting eight more Boeing 737 aircraft ahead of the winter schedule.

SpiceJet announced on Tuesday that it has signed lease agreements to add eight additional Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet before the winter schedule commences.
The winter schedule is set to begin in late October.
With these latest agreements for 8 Boeing 737 aircraft, "the airline's planned fleet expansions increase to 18 aircraft, demonstrating its dedication to addressing the growing demand for air travel during the upcoming festive and winter season," SpiceJet stated in a release.
According to information available on the fleet tracking website Planespotter.com, as of September 15, SpiceJet was operating 19 aircraft out of its total fleet of 53 planes.
The airline reported a net loss of Rs 238 crore for the quarter ending June 2025.
