Unauthorized Medical Practitioner Arrested for Sexual Assault in Jharkhand: Woman Attacked During Child's Treatment

In a disturbing case from Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 26-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unauthorized medical practitioner while her child was present, police officials confirmed on Monday.

According to police reports, the woman had sought medical attention at a clinic in the Chattarpur police station area because her child was suffering from a cold.

The fake doctor informed the woman that her child required steam inhalation treatment and invited her to his residence, which was located next to the clinic, to administer the procedure.

Police stated that upon entering the house with her child, the perpetrator locked the door and allegedly committed the assault.

Although the incident occurred on December 5, the victim filed a report with the police on Sunday, after which the unauthorized practitioner was promptly taken into custody.
