Toronto police have successfully apprehended an Indian-origin individual who was featured on "Canada's 25 most wanted list," according to an official police statement. The suspect was found in possession of firearms and ammunition at the time of arrest.

The 24-year-old Nicholas Singh, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for Breach of Parole, was taken into custody on Friday, as confirmed in a statement released by the Toronto Police.

During the arrest, authorities discovered Singh carrying a firearm, an extended magazine, and ammunition, the statement further detailed.

According to police reports, officers were present in the Bathurst Street and Dupont Street area when they identified Singh inside a vehicle.

The arrest was conducted without any complications, as noted in the police statement.

City News reported that Singh had been serving a sentence of five years, five months and ten days for multiple serious offenses including discharging a restricted/prohibited firearm with intent, armed robbery, and possessing a weapon contrary to a prohibition order when he violated his parole conditions.
