Russian AI Robot "Green" Performs Dance Routine for President Putin at Sberbank Technology Exhibition

President Vladimir Putin witnessed an AI-powered robot dancing at a Sberbank exhibition on Wednesday, an event showcasing the bank's technological advancements.

The state television broadcast showed Putin standing across from the humanoid robot as it introduced itself before performing a dance to what it described as its favorite music.

"My name is Green. I am the first Russian humanoid robot with embedded artificial intelligence. This means that I am not just a programme on a screen, but a physical embodiment of technology," the robot explained to Putin.

According to Sberbank, the robot's software will undergo continuous upgrades, enabling it to perform various physical tasks. A pilot project is planned to integrate the robot into specific business operations.

Putin's security detail monitored the interaction closely, with one bodyguard positioning himself between the robot and the Russian leader afterward to ensure the machine maintained a safe distance.

Putin described the robot's performance as "very beautiful" and expressed his gratitude before proceeding with his tour of the exhibition.

The demonstration comes shortly after another Russian AI robot named Aidol experienced a malfunction at a Moscow presentation, falling face-first on stage shortly after its introduction.

During the same visit, Putin examined one of Sberbank's advanced smart cash machines, which uses camera technology to provide customers with health assessments based on ten indicators including pulse and blood pressure.

At the event, Putin mentioned that he had recently completed one of his regular health examinations and confirmed that his health was in good condition.
