JD Vance Endorses Grok as "Least Woke" AI: Vice President Praises Elon Musk's Artificial Intelligence System

US Vice President JD Vance has declared Elon Musk's Grok AI as the "least woke" artificial intelligence system available, during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

When asked by Hannity if he was "obsessed" with AI technology, Vance readily admitted, "I am." Following Hannity's self-description as a "Grok guy," Vance enthusiastically agreed, "Okay, me too. I'm a Grok guy."

During the conversation, Vance elaborated on his criteria for evaluating AI systems, stating that he judges them based on whether they provide "objective answers" rather than what he considers "woke answers."

Praising Musk's AI chatbot, Vance remarked, "I think it's (Grok) the best. It's also the least woke! I'm always asking myself, if I ask an AI a question, is it going to give me an objective answer, or is it going to give me a woke answer?"

The exchange took a lighter turn when Hannity jokingly inquired if the Vice President had tested Grok's "extreme mode" - its most unrestrained setting. Vance laughed and responded, "I have not, Sean. I don't want the media to attack me."

Earlier in 2025, Musk's AI company xAI introduced an "Unhinged" mode for Grok 3, designed to deliver uncensored, personality-driven responses. This feature remains exclusive to premium subscribers.

Elon Musk later shared the Hannity-Vance exchange on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption "Grok rocks!"

This isn't the first time Vance has expressed appreciation for the AI tool. In a previous podcast with former Musk aide Katie Miller, he revealed using Grok to generate images for a "big cats" picture book he created with his children.

Interestingly, Grok 3 gained attention earlier in February when, in response to a user asking about the "three people doing most harm to America," the AI listed Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and JD Vance himself.
