A tragic workplace incident unfolded in San Antonio, Texas, when a 21-year-old man fatally shot three colleagues at a landscape supply company before turning the gun on himself.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, two male employees and one female employee lost their lives during the Saturday morning shooting at the north side business establishment.

KSAT-TV reported that other staff members immediately evacuated the premises when the shooting began around 8 a.m.

Law enforcement quickly responded to secure the location. After several hours of investigation, they discovered the shooter, identified as Jose Hernandez Galo, deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police Chief William McManus stated during a Saturday news conference that while the motivation behind the shooting remains unclear, the attack was not random in nature.

Investigators continued their examination of the case throughout Sunday.
