Charlie Kirk's three-year-old daughter frequently asks about him, according to his wife Erika.

New Delhi:

Erika Kirk, widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has shared insights about how her children are coping without their father, who was assassinated at a Utah University event almost two months ago. Speaking with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Erika revealed that her children—a three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son—continue to inquire about their father, with her daughter particularly asking questions about communicating with daddy.

In a preview of the interview scheduled to air on November 5, Erika becomes emotional while discussing her personal life.

Following Charlie's death, Erika told her children that their father had gone on a work trip with Jesus. "Are they still asking, 'where is daddy?'" host Watters inquires.

"Yes, my daughter continues to ask," Erika confirms. "But it is really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to sky and start talking to him. He can hear you."

Visibly emotional, Erika struggles to contain her tears and wipes her eyes.

"And I told her, I said, you know Daddy is in heaven. She goes, 'You think I could go sometime?' I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.'"

Recently, Erika shared a touching video showing their daughter spotting her late father's poster outside the Turning Point USA headquarters.

As they drove past the building, the little girl excitedly pointed at the poster and exclaimed, "I see Daddy!" In the caption, Erika wrote, "Her saying your name, as she witnesses all you've built and continue to build, proves that love never dies-it just changes form. It breathes through our children."

She added that their daughter was part of Charlie's enduring legacy, noting, "This is her legacy also. And as she grows up and continues to say your name, I'll be reminding her that each time heaven leans in to listen."

She concluded with a heartfelt message, "I love you, Charlie baby. I'm so proud of you. We all are incredibly proud of you."

Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot during a speech at Utah Valley University on September 10. Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with Kirk's murder, a close ally of US President Donald Trump. Robinson faces the death penalty if convicted.

Erika has, however, forgiven Robinson.

"He (Charlie) wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life," she stated. "That man, that young man, I forgive him," she added tearfully during an interview with Fox News.
