Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang participated in a traditional Korean "love shot" with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Chung Euisun during a meeting in Seoul on Thursday.

The three prominent executives were captured on video with their arms intertwined as they drank beer together, engaging in the popular Korean drinking ritual typically shared between close associates. After taking his sip, Huang nodded approvingly.

Onlookers filmed this notable interaction through the restaurant window, and the footage quickly spread across social media platforms.

The high-profile business dinner took place at Kkanbu Chicken, a popular eatery located near Samseong Station in Seoul's upscale Gangnam district.

As word circulated about the gathering of these three global business leaders, crowds formed outside the establishment. This marked Huang's first official visit to South Korea in more than ten years.

During the meeting, Huang presented his hosts with thoughtful gifts: a bottle of Suntory Hakushu 25-year-old single malt whisky and Nvidia's DGX AI system. According to The Korea Herald, both items were inscribed with the message, "To our partnership and future of the world."

Following the dinner, reports indicate that Huang generously distributed baskets of fried chicken and cheese snacks to those waiting outside the restaurant.

This significant meeting occurred amid Nvidia's deepening engagement with South Korea's technology and automotive sectors, including its partnership with Samsung on high-bandwidth memory (HBM) development and ongoing discussions with Hyundai regarding AI-powered mobility solutions.

Huang's schedule also includes a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Friday. He hinted at forthcoming "many announcements" that would reportedly benefit both the United States under President Donald Trump and South Korea, as reported by Reuters.

The dinner took place against the backdrop of US-China trade tensions regarding export controls on Nvidia's advanced Blackwell AI chips.

When questioned about recent discussions between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Huang diplomatically responded, "I have every confidence that the two presidents had a very good conversation. It doesn't have to involve anything that I do."
