The family of Virginia Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sexual assault, have praised King Charles' decision to remove his brother's royal titles.

Virginia Giuffre's family expressed strong support for the British monarch's decision to strip Andrew of his royal titles, stating that her bravery had effectively "brought down a prince".

"Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage," declared the family in an official statement provided to the BBC.

They further emphasized, "Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and countless other survivors like her."
