Khalistani Group SFJ Calls for Cancellation of Diljit Dosanjh's Australia Concert Over Amitabh Bachchan Controversy

US-based Khalistani organization Sikh For Justice has demanded the cancellation of singer Diljit Dosanjh's November 1 Australia concert, claiming he disrespected victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide by touching Amitabh Bachchan's feet. SFJ, a banned organization under India's UAPA, alleges Bachchan incited violence against Sikhs with inflammatory slogans during the 1984 riots.

The US-based organization Sikh For Justice (SFJ), led by Khalistani activist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has called for the cancellation of singer Diljit Dosanjh's November 1 concert in Australia.

SFJ released a statement claiming Dosanjh "disrespected all victims, widows, and orphans of the 1984 Sikh Genocide" by touching the feet of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

The organization has accused Bachchan of inciting violence on October 31, 1984, with the slogan "Khoon Ka Badla Khoon" (Blood for Blood), which allegedly triggered attacks resulting in the deaths of over 30,000 Sikhs across India.

"By showing respect to Bachchan, a man whose words allegedly orchestrated genocide, Diljit Dosanjh has offended every victim, widow, and orphan of the 1984 Sikh Genocide," stated Pannun.

It is worth noting that the Akal Takht Sahib has designated November 1 as "Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day."

SFJ has been banned under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for engaging in activities that the home ministry considers detrimental to India's internal security and territorial integrity. The organization is alleged to maintain connections with militant groups and activists, supporting secessionist activities aimed at destabilizing India's democratically elected government.

The National Investigation Agency is currently investigating multiple cases against Pannun, who faces over 100 cases being examined by either the NIA or various state authorities.
