Ukraine, Allies To Work On Ceasefire Plan In Next 10 Days: Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that Ukraine and its allies have committed to developing a ceasefire plan within the next ten days, as reported to Axios.

This announcement follows the United States president's suggestion to halt the conflict along current frontlines.

"We have established some quick points, specifically a plan for a ceasefire. We have decided to work on this initiative over the next week or ten days," Zelensky stated in an interview published on Monday.

The Ukrainian leader further disclosed that in an effort to bring Russia to the negotiating table, Ukraine has requested not only Tomahawk missiles from the US administration but also "similar weapons" that do not require extensive training periods.

Zelensky's comments came in direct response to the proposal about ending hostilities at the present territorial boundaries.
