Blinkit Delivery Agent Arrested for Sexual Harassment of Brazilian Model in Bengaluru's RT Nagar

Police arrested a Blinkit delivery agent on Saturday for allegedly sexually harassing a 21-year-old Brazilian model during an order delivery at her home in Bengaluru's RT Nagar area.

According to the FIR submitted by the victim's employer, the incident occurred on October 17 at the model's apartment, where she lives with two female roommates.

Babasab Nemagoud, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North Division Bengaluru, verified that the accused, identified as Kumar Rao Pawar, has been apprehended.

"We arrested the accused the same day the complaint was registered. He is a Diploma student at a private college in Bengaluru who worked part-time as a delivery agent for Blinkit," he stated.

The model had ordered food through the Blinkit application around 3:20 pm on the day of the incident. The FIR states that while delivering her order, the delivery agent reportedly behaved inappropriately and touched her in a manner that violated her personal dignity.

Following the incident, she immediately retreated inside her residence but did not report what happened immediately due to fear.

Several days later, she shared the experience with her roommates, who subsequently informed her employer about the situation.

The complainant then examined CCTV footage from the apartment complex before officially filing a complaint on October 25.
