President Donald Trump has explicitly denied reports that the United States approved Ukraine's use of long-range missiles against Russian territory, contradicting a Wall Street Journal article citing anonymous US officials. Trump emphasized that "the US has nothing to do with those missiles," distancing his administration from Ukraine's military operations while meeting with the NATO Secretary General at the White House.

Trump Says US Has Not Approved Ukraine's Use Of Long-Range Missiles

President Trump engaged with reporters during his meeting with NATO Secretary General in the White House Oval Office on Wednesday.

United States President Donald Trump firmly denied a media report claiming that the US had granted Ukraine permission to utilize long-range missiles against targets deep within Russian territory. Trump stated categorically that the "United States has nothing to do with those missiles."

Earlier Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal published an article, citing anonymous US officials, which alleged that the Trump administration had removed restrictions preventing Ukraine from using certain long-range missile systems provided by Western allies.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump directly addressed the Wall Street Journal report regarding "the U.S.A.'s approval of Ukraine being allowed to use long range missiles deep into Russia," declaring it to be false information.

Trump emphatically clarified the US position, stating, "The US has nothing to do with those missiles, wherever they may come from, or what Ukraine does with them!"
