Prince Andrew Acted As If Sex With 17-Year-Old Was Birthright: Survivor's Memoir

United Kingdom:

According to allegations in Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir, Britain's Prince Andrew behaved as if having sexual relations with her at age 17 was his "birthright."

In her book "Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice," Giuffre details how she had intimate encounters with Andrew on three separate occasions, including when she was underage.

Giuffre gained public recognition after alleging that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein used her as a sex slave and that Prince Andrew had assaulted her.

The 65-year-old royal has consistently denied these accusations and avoided trial by agreeing to a multimillion-dollar settlement.

In excerpts published by The Guardian, Giuffre describes her initial meeting with King Charles III's younger brother in London during March 2001.

According to her account, when Andrew was asked to guess her age, he correctly identified it and remarked: "My daughters are just a little younger than you."

Giuffre writes that they later visited the Tramp nightclub in central London where she observed that Andrew was "sort of a bumbling dancer, and I remember he sweated profusely."

Following their nightclub visit, they returned to Ghislaine Maxwell's London residence, where Giuffre alleges they had sex. Maxwell was Epstein's associate and former girlfriend.

"He was friendly enough, but still entitled -- as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright," Giuffre wrote in the memoir scheduled for release next week.

The following morning, Maxwell allegedly told her: "You did well. The prince had fun."

Giuffre claims Epstein paid her $15,000 for "servicing the man the tabloids called Randy Andy."

Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for trafficking underage girls for sexual purposes.

Maxwell, 63, received a 20-year prison sentence in the United States in 2022 for recruiting underage girls for Epstein.

Giuffre, who held both US and Australian citizenship, passed away at her farm in Western Australia on April 25.

Prince Andrew's association with Epstein has severely damaged his reputation and caused embarrassment to the royal family and the king.

In a disastrous television interview in 2019, Andrew—once celebrated as a handsome war hero who served as a helicopter pilot during the Falklands War—denied ever meeting Giuffre and defended his friendship with Epstein.

The prince now makes increasingly rare public appearances, and his popularity has declined to an all-time low—a humiliating fall for the royal who was reportedly Queen Elizabeth II's favorite child.

Giuffre's memoir is scheduled to be published by Knopf on October 21.
