A senior U.S. adviser confirmed that no Gazans would be forced to leave the Palestinian territory under current plans.
The United States is actively working towards establishing basic stability in Gaza, with planning already in progress for an international force to enter the Palestinian territory, according to a senior U.S. adviser who spoke anonymously on Wednesday.
"Our immediate objective is to achieve fundamental stabilization of the situation. The formation of an international stabilization force is currently underway," the senior U.S. adviser stated.
The United States is engaged in discussions with several countries regarding potential contributions to this force, including Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, and Azerbaijan, revealed a second senior U.S. adviser who also requested anonymity.
One of the advisers emphasized that there would be no forced evacuation of Gaza's Palestinian residents.
"We have clearly communicated that while humanitarian aid will continue flowing in, no reconstruction funding will be allocated to areas under Hamas control," the first adviser explained. "We plan to begin rebuilding efforts in regions that are currently designated as Hamas-free and terror-free zones."
