Trump Issues 6 PM Sunday Deadline for Hamas to Accept Gaza Peace Plan or Face Severe Consequences

Donald Trump on Friday issued an ultimatum to Hamas to accept his Gaza peace plan by Sunday 6 pm Washington DC time or face "all hell".

US President Donald Trump on Friday delivered a stern ultimatum to Hamas regarding his Gaza peace plan, demanding acceptance by Sunday at 6 PM Washington DC time or face severe consequences.

"An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time," Trump declared on Truth Social. "Every Country has signed on! If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER."

Earlier this week, Trump unveiled the peace plan alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The proposal comes after nearly two years of conflict and has yet to receive acceptance from the Palestinian group.

Hamas indicated on Tuesday that they would evaluate the proposal, with Trump informing reporters that Hamas would have "three or four days" to respond.

In his statement, Trump threatened Hamas, stating that most of them "are surrounded and MILITARILY TRAPPED, just waiting for me to give the word, 'GO,' for their lives to be quickly extinguished. As for the rest, we know where and who you are, and you will be hunted down, and killed".

The peace deal outlines a ceasefire, the release of hostages within 72 hours, Hamas disarmament, and Israel's gradual withdrawal from Gaza. Following implementation, Trump would head the post-war authority.

Mohammad Nazzal, a member of Hamas's political bureau, acknowledged on Friday that the "plan has points of concern, and we will announce our position on it soon", according to AFP reports.

Hamas has consistently maintained that they would only release remaining hostages in exchange for a lasting ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal. Meanwhile, Netanyahu has rejected these terms, insisting that Hamas must disarm and surrender.
