US President Donald Trump firmly stated on Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would refrain from launching additional attacks on Qatar, following last week's strike against Hamas that angered the important Gulf ally of the United States.
"He won't be hitting in Qatar," Trump emphasized to reporters during a meeting in the Oval Office. This assertion came after Netanyahu had declined to exclude the possibility of future strikes during discussions with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jerusalem.
