How Much Can I Give You To Make You Stop? US Woman Raped By Homeless Man

A 36-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a homeless man inside her apartment in Norwood, New York City. The attack occurred around 5 am when Kenneth Siriboe, 21, approached her inside a residential building on East Gun Hill Road near Putnam Place.

According to police reports, Siriboe covered the victim's mouth with one hand while squeezing her throat with the other. He proceeded to throw the woman to the ground and repeatedly punch her before sexually assaulting her.

During the horrific attack, the woman desperately pleaded with her attacker, screaming, "No, no! Please stop! How much can I give you to make you stop?" as documented in court records.

After the assault, Siriboe stole the woman's Coach purse and wallet containing $250 in cash, her identification, and keys before fleeing the building.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) later released surveillance footage showing the suspect running down the apartment building stairs while pulling up his pants, with a towel around his neck.

The victim suffered multiple bruises, swelling, and lacerations across her body. Emergency services transported her to North Central Bronx Hospital, where she remains in stable condition.

While investigators haven't determined how Siriboe gained access to the victim's building, reports indicate he had remained inside the premises for an extended period. Police apprehended him on Monday at another Bronx location approximately two miles from where the attack occurred.

Siriboe faces numerous serious charges including rape, robbery, burglary, grand larceny, and criminal obstruction of breathing. During his Monday evening court appearance, the judge set bail at $30,000.

This incident follows a concerning pattern of violent crime in New York. In July, a 26-year-old Thai model studying in New York was violently assaulted and robbed at a Brooklyn subway station by a repeat offender who was out on bail.

According to the NYPD's most recent statistics, 399 rapes have been reported in the Bronx this year to date, representing approximately a 27 percent increase compared to the 314 attacks recorded during the same period in 2024.
