Trump Creates Presidential Walk of Fame at White House, Excludes Biden's Portrait

Instead of displaying Biden's headshot, the White House exhibited a photo of an autopen signing the Democrat's signature.
Washington:
President Donald Trump has established a Presidential Walk of Fame on the White House exterior, featuring portraits of all previous presidents—with one notable exception.
Rather than including a headshot of Joe Biden, Trump opted to display a photo of an autopen signing Biden's name, referencing Trump's frequent claim that the former president was cognitively impaired toward the end of his term and not actually making decisions.
This snub represents Trump's latest effort to delegitimize a predecessor whom he regularly disparages, including before more than 100 world leaders at Tuesday's United Nations General Assembly. Trump has consistently refused to acknowledge his defeat to Biden in the 2020 election, instead falsely attributing the outcome to voter fraud.
"The Presidential Walk of Fame has arrived on the West Wing Colonnade. Wait for it… 🖊️👀" tweeted Margo Martin on September 24, 2025.
Trump had previously indicated his intention to represent Biden with an autopen on the Presidential Walk of Fame. Without evidence, Trump has alleged that Biden administration officials might have forged the president's signature using an autopen and implemented broad policies without Biden's awareness.
Trump has also questioned the validity of pardons and other documents Biden signed with an autopen, despite the fact that previous presidents have also utilized this device for signing important papers. A prominent Republican-led House committee is currently investigating the Biden administration's use of the autopen.
White House staff enthusiastically promoted the completed project through multiple social media posts Wednesday afternoon. Media representatives may get their first in-person view of the Walk of Fame when Trump hosts a dinner Wednesday evening on the new Rose Garden patio adjacent to the West Wing Colonnade where the portraits are displayed.
The Walk of Fame addition is the latest in a series of design modifications Trump has implemented at the White House since returning to office. Other changes include adding gold accents to the Oval Office walls, installing large new flagpoles on both lawns, replacing Rose Garden grass with patio stones, and beginning construction on a substantial new ballroom.
