Donald Trump Jr, the eldest son of US President Donald Trump, has announced his engagement to Palm Beach socialite and philanthropist Bettina Anderson. The news was revealed during a White House holiday celebration on Monday, with the moment later shared on social media by conservative influencer Laura Loomer.

During the announcement, the 47-year-old Trump Jr expressed his emotions stating, "I'm not usually at a loss for words, because I'm usually doing the ranting and raving really well," before gratefully acknowledging, "I want to thank Bettina for that one word: 'Yes.'"

Anderson, 39, responded with visible joy, "This has been the most unforgettable weekend. I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you."

Bettina Anderson comes from a prominent background as the daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr and Inger Anderson. She has established herself in Palm Beach's high society and charitable communities. Her philanthropic work includes advocating for the Hope for Depression Research Foundation established by Audrey Gruss, and playing a significant role in Project Paradise, a Florida-based conservation initiative. She also dedicates time to volunteering with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County.

Reports suggest the couple has been in a relationship for approximately one year. They recently traveled together to Udaipur to attend a wedding. There has also been speculation regarding Anderson potentially seeking a position on the president's committee on the arts and humanities.

This engagement follows Trump Jr's previous marriage to Vanessa Trump, which lasted 12 years before ending in divorce in 2018. From that marriage, he has five children – Kai (18), Donald III (16), Tristan (14), Spencer (13), and Chloe (11).

After his divorce, Trump Jr began a relationship with former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle in 2018. They became engaged in 2020, though their relationship concluded in late 2024, according to People Magazine.

Trump Jr and Anderson were first photographed together at a brunch in August 2024, during a period when Trump Jr was still publicly associated with Guilfoyle. By September, sources indicated that Trump Jr and Guilfoyle were spending time apart, with their separation later confirmed.

Following their split, Guilfoyle was nominated by President Trump to serve as US ambassador to Greece, a position confirmed by the Senate in September.
