US President Donald Trump dismissed the recently released photographs showing him with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and multiple women, describing them as "no big deal" and claiming he had not viewed them.
During an Oval Office press briefing, Trump remarked, "Everybody knew this man [Epstein] - he was all over Palm Beach," adding that "He has photos with everybody... there are hundreds and hundreds of people that have them."
Trump further stated, "That's no big deal... I know nothing about them."
The Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee published 19 previously unseen photographs from Epstein's estate. They reported having access to over 95,000 images in the collection obtained by the Committee.
The released photographs feature numerous high-profile individuals, including former US President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, film director Woody Allen, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Steve Bannon, and others.
House Democrats obscured certain faces in the photographs prior to their release.
In a statement posted on X, Oversight Democrats wrote, "These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!"
One notable image shows Clinton standing alongside Epstein and his associate and girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. The photograph appears to contain the former president's signature.
Another image depicts Allen seated in a director's chair with Epstein standing beside him. The filmmaker, previously accused of child sexual abuse allegations which he has denied, told The Sunday Times regarding his relationship with Epstein: "We never, ever, saw Jeffrey with underage girls. He always had a girlfriend but never an underage girlfriend."
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform responded to the Democrats' post on X by stating, "Once again, Oversight Democrats are chasing headlines by releasing a handful of selectively censored and cherry-picked photos from the Epstein Estate."
They further asserted, "Nothing in the documents we've received shows any wrongdoing."
The publication of these images comes as the administration's deadline to release the complete Epstein files approaches, scheduled for Friday, December 19.
