Exposed: Iran Directs Secret Hamas Financial Network in Turkey Transferring Millions for Terrorism

Israeli security forces have uncovered what they describe as an Iran-supervised Hamas financial network operating within Turkey, allegedly transferring hundreds of millions of dollars to the terrorist organization.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) jointly revealed intelligence claiming that Gaza-born individuals residing in Turkey are managing this clandestine financial operation.

According to IDF Arabic spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee, these Gazan operatives receive substantial Iranian funding, store the money, and then channel it directly to Hamas, exploiting Turkey's financial infrastructure for terrorist activities.

Adraee shared details on social media platform X, presenting what he described as Hamas documents that expose this financial pipeline. The security agencies assert that the evidence reveals only a fraction of the actual money being transferred, with individual transactions reaching hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Israeli intelligence has identified three key figures in this operation: Tamer Hassan, reportedly a senior Hamas finance official in Turkey with direct connections to Khalil al-Hayya, alongside two money changers - Khalil Fraoneh and Farid Abu Dayer - who allegedly facilitate these transactions within the Hamas network.

Israel's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, publicly questioned Turkey's role in this affair, stating: "The Iranian regime continues to be deeply involved in terrorism and corruption. Hamas agents in Turkey are channelling funds for terrorist purposes. One wonders what a member of NATO is doing helping to facilitate terrorism."

Despite the extensive destruction in Gaza resulting from the ongoing conflict, Israeli authorities maintain that Hamas continues to orchestrate terrorist plots against Israel while attempting to rebuild its operational capabilities beyond Gaza's borders.

The IDF and Shin Bet emphasized that this financial network represents Hamas's ongoing efforts, with Iranian backing, to sustain its activities and rebuild its infrastructure outside the Gaza Strip.
