Austrian Beauty Influencer Stefanie Pieper Found Murdered, Ex-Boyfriend Confesses to Hiding Body in Forest

Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper, aged 31, was discovered deceased after her ex-boyfriend confessed to her murder, according to reports from Austrian media on Sunday.

Pieper, who had gained popularity for her content on makeup, fashion, and singing, disappeared on November 23 after returning from a party, as confirmed by the Styrian State Police.

Austrian media reported that Pieper had texted a friend upon arriving home safely that night, but shortly afterward sent another concerning message indicating she suspected someone was in her stairwell.

Neighbors told investigators they heard arguments and reportedly witnessed Pieper's ex-boyfriend in her building around that time. When relatives and coworkers couldn't reach her, they filed a missing person report.

The police statement revealed that the ex-boyfriend was apprehended in Slovenia after being found near his burning vehicle. Authorities believe he had made several trips to Slovenia in his car. On November 24, Slovenian police reported a car fire in a casino parking lot near the Austrian-Slovenian border, later identified as belonging to the suspect.

According to Kronen Zeitung, following extradition to Austria, the man agreed to cooperate with investigators during questioning. He confessed to strangling Pieper, concealing her body in a suitcase, and burying it in a forest in Slovenia. The accused subsequently led authorities to her remains.

The Styrian State Police also confirmed that two male relatives of the primary suspect have been arrested in connection with the case.
