Rajasthan Police have apprehended three individuals for allegedly marketing jackets featuring gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's name in the Kotputli-Behror district.
This arrest is part of a broader initiative targeting those who promote criminals and gang members in any capacity.
According to Kotputli-Behror SP Devendra Kumar Bishnoi, law enforcement conducted a raid on a shop located at City Plaza in Kotputli where they confiscated 35 jackets allegedly displaying the gangster's name being sold by the suspects.
The three men taken into custody have been identified as Krishan alias Guddu (38), Sanjay Saini (31), and Suresh Chand Sharma (50), all hailing from the Kotputli region.
The Superintendent of Police emphasized that glorifying criminal figures promotes illegal activities and negatively influences young people. He assured that district police would maintain strict enforcement against anyone found promoting gangsters or criminal behavior in the future.
