Tragic Murder-Suicide Investigation: Couple Found Dead With Mysterious Lipstick Messages in Bilaspur Home

A disturbing case unfolds in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur as police investigate the deaths of Shivani and Raj Tambe, found in their home alongside cryptic lipstick messages on walls. Forensic evidence points to a possible murder-suicide stemming from marital distrust, while lipstick writings implicate a third party in the tragedy that orphaned three children.

Couple Found Dead At Home, Lipstick Messages On Walls Point To Murder-Suicide

The couple had been cohabiting for nearly ten years together.

A chilling discovery shocked residents of Atal Awas Colony in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur on Monday when a married couple was found deceased under mysterious circumstances. What initially seemed like a domestic dispute has evolved into a disturbing case featuring lipstick-written messages and an apparent murder-suicide scenario.

The scene inside the residence was horrifying. Thirty-year-old Shivani Tambe, also known as Neha, was discovered lifeless on the bed, while her husband, Raj Tambe, was found hanging from a ceiling fan. Police were particularly disturbed by lipstick messages written on the walls, suggesting blame, heartbreak, and desperation.

Among these writings was the name and contact information of a man identified as Rajesh Vishwas. The message accused him of disrupting the couple's marriage, stating, "We are dying because of Rajesh Vishwas." Another emotional note read, "Children, I love you." The writings also mentioned recurring arguments about the wife's phone calls and Raj's increasing suspicions.

The couple, who had been together for approximately a decade following a love marriage, worked as cleaning staff at a private company and were parents to three young children. According to neighbors, arguments between them had become commonplace, often stemming from distrust and allegations of unfaithfulness.

On November 24, when neither Raj nor Neha emerged from their home by afternoon, Neha's mother, Reena Chinna, became worried and went to investigate. She found the door locked from inside. Upon managing to enter, she encountered a traumatizing scene: her daughter dead on the bed and her son-in-law hanging.

Forensic specialists identified scratch marks on Neha's neck, strongly suggesting she may have been strangled before Raj took his own life. A suicide note found in the room echoed the same accusations written on the walls, reinforcing the murder-suicide theory.

Authorities are investigating all possibilities. The wall writings, suicide note, physical injuries, and event timeline are all under thorough examination.

City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Nimitesh Singh confirmed that both bodies were discovered in the same room and that an investigation has been opened. "All angles are being investigated," he stated, noting that the forensic report will be essential in determining what actually occurred in the Tambe household.

Meanwhile, the entire Atal Awas Colony community remains gripped by fear, shock, and speculation as this sensational case presents more questions than answers.
