In a tragic incident in Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 25-year-old man fatally injured his wife during an alcohol-fueled confrontation. The perpetrator allegedly slammed his 22-year-old spouse to the ground after discovering she had been drinking. Drunk Man Kills Wife By Slamming Her To Ground For Consuming Alcohol

A 22-year-old woman lost her life in Jharkhand's Palamu district when her husband, in a fit of rage during an alcohol-fueled dispute, allegedly lifted her up and violently slammed her to the ground.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday night in Datam Badi Jharia within the Ramgarh police station jurisdiction. Police reported that the husband, 25-year-old Upendra Parhiya, was apprehended the following Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities have sent the body of the victim, identified as Shilpi Devi, to the Medinirai Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

According to police reports, Upendra was already intoxicated at home when Shilpi returned in a similar state. Angered by his wife's condition, Upendra confronted her about coming home drunk, which sparked a heated argument between the couple.

As tensions escalated, Upendra began physically assaulting Shilpi before suddenly lifting her and forcefully throwing her onto the ground, resulting in fatal injuries.

The couple had been married for three years and shared a child together.
