Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted a sacred saffron flag atop the Ram temple in Ayodhya during the "Dhwaj Arohan" ceremony, officially marking the completion of the temple's construction. The significant ritual, performed during the auspicious 'Abhijit Muhurat' and coinciding with Ram-Sita's Vivah Panchami, was attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other dignitaries, with rituals conducted by 108 Acharyas from across India.

Construction of the Ram temple commenced following the Bhumi Poojan ceremony conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2020.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted a saffron flag atop the Ram temple in Ayodhya during the auspicious "Dhwaj Arohan" ceremony, signifying the formal completion of the temple's construction.

The ceremony was attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat alongside PM Modi. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present at this significant event.

The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted during 'Abhijit Muhurat', a planetary alignment considered highly auspicious in Hindu tradition. PTI

This ceremony marked the official completion of the Ram temple construction project.

The event coincided with the Muhurat of Ram and Sita's Vivah Panchami, adding spiritual significance.

The sacred rituals were performed by 108 Acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India. PTI

The temple construction began after PM Modi performed the Bhumi Poojan in August 2020, following the Supreme Court's November 9, 2019 judgment that awarded the 2.77-acre disputed land for the temple's construction.
