Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, along with his wife Priti Adani, visited a temple in Ahmedabad to offer prayers following the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) clearing several of the group's companies from allegations of stock manipulation made by Hindenburg Research.
The couple was seen lighting a diya and offering prayers at the Jain temple. According to a close associate who spoke to ANI, "This moment represented more than just regulatory clearance for the Adani family - it symbolized good prevailing over evil, a quiet victory achieved through perseverance, faith, and resilience."

Responding to SEBI's favorable ruling, Gautam Adani stated that truth ultimately prevails, and the regulator's decision confirms what the group had consistently maintained - that the allegations were unfounded.
Mr. Adani also expressed concern for investors who suffered financial losses due to what he called a motivated report. He posted on X: "After SEBI's comprehensive investigation, they have confirmed what we've always stated - Hindenburg's claims lacked substance. The Adani Group has always been defined by transparency and integrity. We sincerely sympathize with investors who lost money because of this fraudulent and motivated report. Those responsible for spreading false narratives should apologize to the nation."
SEBI issued two orders stating that allegations regarding insider trading, market manipulation, and violations of public shareholding regulations were found to be unsubstantiated.
In January 2023, Hindenburg had claimed that three companies - Adicorp Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Milestone Tradelinks Pvt Ltd, and Rehvar Infrastructure Pvt Ltd - were used as channels to transfer funds between Adani group companies.
SEBI determined there were no violations of disclosure requirements as the transactions did not meet the criteria for related party definitions.
