Four Individuals, Including Woman, Arrested After Mall Shooting Incident in Lucknow

Police officials confirmed all four suspects have been remanded to judicial custody following the incident.

Authorities have apprehended four people, including a female suspect, for allegedly discharging a firearm at a shopping mall located in the Sushant Golf City police jurisdiction on Saturday, according to official reports.

The confrontation took place during the night between September 19 and 20, following what investigators describe as an altercation between the accused individuals and security personnel at a bar establishment.

According to police statements, the detained suspects were identified as Harsh Mishra (23), Prince Verma (28), Rohit Patel (30), and Swati (35).

Law enforcement responded promptly to an emergency notification and a formal complaint submitted by Anuj Chaudhary, which facilitated the swift arrest of all four suspects.

Authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the incident, with additional violations under the Arms Act subsequently included in the charges.

During their investigation, police recovered the firearm, two magazines, seven unfired bullets, and two discharged shell casings from the location. The weapon, legally registered to Rohit Patel, was reportedly utilized by Harsh Mishra during the incident. The vehicle employed by the group was also confiscated as evidence.

When questioned by investigators, the suspects acknowledged visiting the bar for entertainment. According to their statements, a verbal disagreement with security personnel escalated into a confrontation, resulting in Harsh allegedly discharging the weapon in the mall's parking area.
