Patna:
Following a disappointing performance in the recent Bihar elections, the Jan Suraaj Party led by Prashant Kishor announced on Saturday the dissolution of all its organizational structures from state to panchayat levels.
According to party spokesperson Syed Masih Uddin, the decision includes plans to establish new units within the next six weeks.
The announcement came after the party's national council meeting in Patna, which was presided over by state president Manoj Bharti.
Kishor attended the meeting alongside several prominent party figures, including former Army Vice Chief SK Singh, former Union Minister Ramchandra Prasad Singh, and senior advocate YV Giri.
The party statement revealed that senior leaders have been tasked with overseeing all 12 divisions of Bihar to rebuild an effective organizational framework. These leaders will conduct thorough discussions to analyze the reasons behind the electoral defeat and prepare a report identifying cases of internal indiscipline or betrayal.
The Jan Suraaj Party failed to secure any seats in the assembly elections, with most of its candidates unable to retain their security deposits.
