A cleaner at Killaud Community Health Centre in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district was terminated after a viral video revealed stray dogs lying on patient beds. Health authorities took immediate action, including salary deduction for the on-duty nurse, following public outrage over the incident of medical negligence at the government facility.

A cleaner was dismissed from employment after footage emerged showing stray dogs resting on patient beds at a government community health facility in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district. The viral video triggered significant public outrage. The incident occurred at the Killaud Community Health Centre, according to an official report.

Block Medical Officer Dr. Dharmendra Sharma immediately terminated the cleaner's employment and ordered a seven-day salary deduction for the nurse who was on duty during the incident, the official added.

"Health authorities received instructions to implement strict measures against those responsible for this serious lapse," collector Rishav Gupta informed reporters.
