New Delhi:
The Delhi Legislative Assembly is set to present a special exhibition entitled "Know Your Prime Minister" in commemoration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday celebration.
According to the Assembly Speaker, this exhibition, highlighting the Prime Minister's life journey, will remain accessible to visitors at the Vidhan Sabha premises through October 2, 2025.
During the announcement, Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta emphasized that this exhibition represents not merely a celebration of one individual but a homage to a leader whose vision and service have become intrinsic to the narrative of New India.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's progression from modest origins to the nation's highest office exemplifies the essence of Indian democracy, where leadership is achieved through dedication and trust in the people," Gupta remarked.
As part of the commemorative activities, the Assembly Library will launch a specialized book gallery focused on the Prime Minister, showcasing biographies, significant speeches, collections such as Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Mann Ki Baat, alongside works detailing his policies and international diplomacy. This initiative seeks to offer legislators and researchers deeper understanding of Modi's perspectives and achievements.
Aligning with the Prime Minister's "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative, a tree planting campaign will also be conducted within the Assembly grounds, symbolizing development, environmental sustainability, and commitment to future generations.
After inspecting the exhibition venue and confirming arrangements with senior officials, Gupta has invited all MLAs and encouraged them to motivate citizens to attend the exhibition.
"This endeavor will help people connect with their Prime Minister's inspirational journey and better comprehend his nation-building vision," he further stated.
Detailed preparations continue for the upcoming Seva Pakhwada, a nationwide 15-day service campaign marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.
The BJP will organize blood donation drives, cleanliness initiatives, and exhibitions throughout India to highlight the central government's accomplishments.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav disclosed on Thursday that the campaign will operate from September 17 through October 2, commencing on the Prime Minister's birthday and concluding on Gandhi Jayanti.
To ensure the campaign's effectiveness, the BJP has designated National General Secretary Sunil Bansal as coordinator. He will manage communication with party leaders across the country. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and additional BJP leaders have been instructed to develop and implement programs in their respective regions.
In his media address, Yadav stated that Prime Minister Modi has reinforced the principles of service, cleanliness, and compassion in Indian politics.
"Throughout crises, pandemics, or natural calamities, he has consistently inspired people to unite with a spirit of service," he added.
