Rajasthan Student Commits Suicide After Alleged Teacher Harassment: A Tragic Case of School Bullying

A 14-year-old student in Rajasthan's Karauli district committed suicide after allegedly facing harassment from two teachers and a school administrator. Ankit Gurjar left a suicide note naming his tormentors and demanding justice before taking his life, highlighting the serious consequences of school bullying and the urgent need for better student mental health support systems.

A 14-year-old Class 9 student has ended his life after allegedly being harassed by two teachers and the school administrator in a village in Rajasthan's Karauli district, police reported on Wednesday.

The deceased boy has been identified as Ankit Gurjar, a resident of Dhangad Ka Pura village and a student at Kamla Bhartiya Shikshan Sansthan.

Todabhim Deputy Superintendent of Police Murarilal Meena stated that a case has been registered following a complaint filed by Ankit's father, Madan Singh, at the Nadauti police station.

According to the complaint, on Tuesday morning, Ankit had gone to school where he was beaten up and mistreated by two teachers and the school administrator.

The family members reported that the boy was deeply distressed following the incident.

That same day, Ankit took his own life after writing a suicide note in which he accused two teachers, Babulal Bairwa and Shahanshah Sheikh, along with the school administrator, of torture and demanded they be punished.

The boy later hanged himself from a tree near a cattle shed behind his house. A female family member discovered Ankit's body hanging, according to police.

Police officials have stated that further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
