Violent Confrontation Erupts at Haryana Wedding After Dancer Slaps Guest for Inappropriate Behavior

A violent confrontation erupted at a wedding celebration in Haryana's Nuh when a female performer reportedly slapped a guest on stage after he allegedly attempted inappropriate behavior towards her, resulting in a chaotic brawl that local villagers eventually managed to control.

A video allegedly showing the incident has been circulating across social media platforms.

Police officials have acknowledged awareness of the incident but stated they have not yet received any formal complaint.

Sadar Tauru SHO Shish Ram stated, "We have been informed about this incident, but have not received any official complaint as of today. Legal action will be taken once a complaint is filed." According to local residents, the groom from Pachgaon village had invited three performers to entertain guests at his pre-wedding celebration on Sunday evening.

During one dancer's performance, a relative of the groom reportedly approached her, allegedly making inappropriate gestures and attempting to touch her improperly. Provoked by this behavior, the performer slapped him while on stage. In response, the guest retaliated by slapping the dancer back, according to witnesses.

The situation rapidly deteriorated as people from both sides began physically attacking each other. Within moments, numerous men climbed onto the stage, surrounded the performers, and allegedly began assaulting them, as reported by villagers.

The dancers' support team attempted to intervene but were reportedly attacked as well, forcing the performers to flee the scene.

A senior police official confirmed they are currently investigating the incident.
