Pakistani Politician Claims Responsibility for Red Fort Blast: Inside the Terror Network Behind the Delhi Attack

A Pakistani politician has made shocking claims regarding direct involvement in the Delhi Red Fort bombing that occurred on November 10, resulting in 15 fatalities and numerous injuries. Chaudhary Anwarul Haq, who served as 'Prime Minister' of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir until recently, declared in the PoK Assembly, "I stated previously, if you (India) continue bleeding Balochistan, we will strike you from the Red Fort to Kashmir's forests. By Allah's grace, we have accomplished this... our brave individuals have done it."

Pakistan has yet to issue an official response to these statements, although Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has suggested the possibility of "all-out war" with India. Pakistani authorities have announced remaining on 'full alert' amid growing regional tensions.

Pakistan has consistently accused India of instigating unrest in Balochistan province, allegations that New Delhi claims are diversionary tactics to deflect attention from Pakistan-supported cross-border terrorism. India has consistently denied any involvement in Balochistan violence.

Intelligence agencies have connected the exploded vehicle outside Red Fort - a Hyundai i20 containing ammonium nitrate fuel oil - and the terrorist organization behind the attack to Jaish-e-Mohammed, one of several Pakistan-supported terrorist groups.

Officials investigating the bombing informed NDTV that the 10-member 'terror doctor' cell was established by an Islamic cleric from Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian - Maulvi Irfan Ahmed - who maintained direct connections with Jaish; he reportedly facilitated meetings with JeM operatives.

Ahmed and a Pakistan-based terror operative, Umar-bin-Khattab, also known as Hanjullah, served as the cell's handlers, according to NDTV sources.

Ahmed identified and radicalized doctors from Haryana's Faridabad-based Al-Falah Medical College, including Dr. Umar Mohammad, who became the suicide bomber. The remaining cell members, including Ahmed, have been apprehended.

Meanwhile, intelligence sources revealed to NDTV that Jaish leadership has issued appeals for 'donations' to finance additional 'fidayeen' attacks targeting India. They have requested PKR 20,000 from residents in remote Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where JeM maintains operations.

Sources indicated that evidence discovered during the Red Fort bombing investigation suggests Jaish leaders have called for fundraising through digital platforms, including a Pakistani application called SadaPay. There are also concerns they may be planning a women-led attack.

Jaish already operates a 'women's wing'; terror leader Masood Azhar's sister, Sadiya, was assigned leadership of this unit, established after Operation Sindoor, India's military response to the Pahalgam attack, destroyed JeM facilities in Pakistan's Bahawalpur.

A principal suspect in the Red Fort bombing - Dr. Shahina Saeed, reportedly codenamed 'Madam Surgeon' and potentially responsible for financing the operation - is believed to be affiliated with this unit, known as Jamat ul-Muminat.

Earlier this month, new intelligence obtained by NDTV indicated a concerning escalation in Pakistan-backed terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The information suggested major organizations, including Jaish and Lashkar-e-Taiba, were mobilizing for a new wave of coordinated attacks.

Both are prominent terrorist organizations financially supported by Pakistan's military and intelligence apparatus, and have made headlines in India during the past six months, each responsible for attacks resulting in civilian casualties.

On Tuesday, as investigations into the Red Fort car bombing continue, intelligence sources elaborated on the differences between these groups, including their operational methodologies, leadership structures, and radicalization techniques.
